Bleach
Tite Kubo's manga (2001–2016) and Studio Pierrot's anime: Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenager who can see ghosts, inherits the powers of a shinigami (soul reaper) and must protect the living and the dead from evil spirits. His town, Karakura, is fictional; but the townscape of the first film, Memories of Nobody (2006), was modeled on the Minami-Ōsawa area in Hachiōji, Tokyo.

The Keiō Sagamihara Line station and its raised pedestrian deck are the core of the townscape the film Bleach: Memories of Nobody used as the model for Karakura. The area, part of the planned Tama New Town, has the modern suburban feel of Ichigo's hometown.

The large shopping mall next to the station, a two-minute walk away, provides the storefronts and commercial streets seen in the film's Karakura scenery. It's the most recognizable spot of the area's pilgrimage.
