Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club
Kyoto Animation's swimming anime (2013-2018, plus films), based on Kōji Ōji's novel 'High Speed!': Haruka Nanase and his friends revive their childhood bonds in the Iwatobi High swim club. The fictional seaside town of Iwatobi is modelled on Iwami (Tottori) and its Uradome coast, an official collaborator of the franchise.

The little fishing port perched on the hillside is the model for Iwatobi's seafaring quarter: its stepped alleys, breakwaters and Sea of Japan views appear again and again in the show.
