Original anime by P.A. Works (2008), their first work as lead studio, set in the studio's own hometown: the Jōhana district of Nanto (Toyama). A youthful romantic drama about Shin'ichirō and the girls around him, against the backdrop of the town's float festival (hikiyama). Jōhana's snowy landscapes and streets are reproduced with great fidelity.
