Masterpiece by Kyoto Animation directed by Taichi Ishidate. It tells the story of Violet Evergarden, a young former soldier who, after the war ends, becomes an "Auto Memory Doll" to write letters that express the feelings of others, seeking to understand the meaning of Major Gilbert's final words: "I love you." The stunningly beautiful world of Telesis is artistically inspired by the real landscapes and architecture of various European countries (Germany, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Spain and Greece), as well as brick buildings in Kyoto and Handa in Japan.
